About

Peter Lyu is a Solutions Architect at Rescale. Peter received his bachelors, masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan in Aerospace Engineering, where he worked on several NASA and Boeing projects on aircraft design and multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) of a blended-wing-body aircraft. He developed aerodynamic shape optimization algorithms, leveraging high-performance computing to reduce fuel burn and improve aircraft performance. Prior to joining Rescale, he led the CFD applications team at COMSOL, specialized in the area of fluid flow, heat transfer, and chemical reaction simulations and optimization.
